There was an attempted robbery at our Bloomingdale location earlier this morning.
NO ONE WAS HURT.
NOTHING WAS TAKEN.
A tall, thin, black man wearing a ski mask pulled a weapon at a teller window and demanded money. A very alert cashier immediately hit the hold-up switch under the counter then dropped out of sight. The robber ran from the scene.
The police were on the scene just minutes later. Our cashier and other witnesses nearby were able to provide police with a description.
